International Fire Consultants Ltd has an expert team of architecturally trained and experienced Computer Aided Design professionals with a long-standing reputation for high quality output. The IFC CAD team have a combined drawing experience spanning over 35 years, in private and public sectors of architectural practices. Working initially with some of the earlier AutoDesk® drawing packages such as AutoCAD Release 9 and AutoSketch Release 2, as Hardware and Operating Systems have developed, the CAD team has increased its experience, using newer updated AutoDesk® drawing software, Bentley MicroStation and other third party CAD software.

Our CAD team has an original and yet straightforward approach to AutoCAD drawing, which is based upon adapted drawing board principals; this technique enables us to produce high quality drawings in a short amount of time. Thanks to the architectural background of IFC's CAD team, we can produce a wide range of CAD outputs from conceptual designs to detailed working drawings that can be used for construction/manufacture.

Compatibility & Capabilities

IFC is drawing with AutoCAD LT 2004, which is fully compatible with other earlier releases of AutoCAD & AutoCAD LT. This release of AutoCAD enables us to create not only simple monochrome line drawings but also complex full colour isometric & three-dimensional figures. The CAD Team is supplemented by high-resolution printing, plotting and scanning utilities.

IFC CAD services are not however simply limited to AutoCAD software, we have frequently created drawings, images and designs in a variety of other packages including:

Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Word), Macromedia's Flash & Fireworks, Windows Paint Program, Kodak Imaging, Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Acrobat, Micrografix Picture Publisher & AutoSketch 7.
