Negotiation with the Statutory Bodies

IFC are in a strong position to negotiate
with statutory authorities for a number of reasons.

IFC has and continues to be involved in
the writing of the codes and guides that are embodied within
UK legislation.

Many local Building Control, Approved Inspectors
and Fire Authorities frequently use IFC as third party checking
engineers to ascertain compliance with the regulations.

In addition, a number of IFC employees
have been employed by various fire authorities/building control
bodies and have an intimate understanding of the approval and
legal processes.
